First Curl
It killed me, but it was time to cut K's first curl. As you can see, she still doesn't have much hair. This curl was turning into a rat tail from the late 80s, so it was time to go. I can't believe how hard it was for me to cut it, but K took it like a champ!
Her first curl was cut on 3-14-12. Now if we can just grow some hair all over. Although I must confess that it is nice not to have to fix it everyday. :)
Lets go fly a kite
Tuesdays have become a special day in our home. I am off on Tuesdays, and I always have Kinley on that day. I decided this was the best day to reward her for her chores that she completed on her chore chart from the week before. Today K got a slush that we shared from Sonic, and her first kite.
She enjoyed this cherry lemon slush!
Of course it had to be a Dora kite.
The kite never made it up. There just wasn't enough wind today, but we will try again soon.

Kinley's Kindermusic Class
K has been enrolled in Kindermusic for 3 semesters now. We attend this class on Monday afternoons at Calvary Baptist Church and she loves it. It has taught her to love music, find the beat in a song, and even put things away when she is finnished with them. I know that may seem minor, but for my 2 yr old it is huge! :) Here are some pics so everyone can get an idea of what Kindermusic is all about.
We can find the rythum with the sand blocks.
The kids play with the ribbons as they walk to the slow music and run to the fast music.
These baskets represented wagons. We pulled the kids around the room pretending the wheels were coming off and the road was bumpy. They love this exercise!
She loves to gingle her bells!
And of course we love the egg shakers! Kindermusic is Great!!!

A Night at the Movies
I decided to give Kinley a girls night out at the movies. The Lorax was the second time she has been to the theater not counting Josh's bday party when she was 4 months old. Last year on her 2nd birthday we went to see Winnie the Pooh and she did fantastic. I was hoping she would be just as good, and she certainly exceeded my expectations.
Meme joined us as well.
We went to the 5:00 show. Instead of dinner, she filled up on popcorn and candy. I think she enjoyed that more than the movie. :)
Kinley said she loves watching the "big tv".
