Thank You Easter Bunny!!!

This will be a long post so I appoligize. I supose I went a little overboard with the pictures. We had to celebrate Easter a day early since K would be at her dad's house for the holiday. For this reason, she woke up on Saturday morning and the Easter Bunny had come. We also went to Auntie's house to eat lunch and hunt Easter eggs. K had a blast and was so tired by the time we left, she could hardly function.  :)

One of her gifts from Meme. She loves Mickey and Minnie!

This girl loves her suckers. Especially when its a big choclate bunny.

Jewlrey made of candy. What more could a girl ask for? Thanks Auntie!

Yummy!

Hunting eggs and still eating our necklace.

K found the $5 egg!!!

K was out before we got to the end of Auntie's road. She had an exciting day!!!

K ended up with $7.50 and a ton of candy in all. Thanks Easter Bunny, Auntie, Meme, and Ms. Krissy for all you did to make it a Happy Easter!

Egg Coloring Fun

We spent Good Friday at Meme's house coloring eggs. Eventhough they didn't turn out so great, she had a wonderful time trying. The eggs ended up cracking, but K took her time covering them with stickers trying to make them look "pretty". She never gave up on them.

April Student of the Month

K was chosen to be the spotlight student of the month for April at her daycare First Friends. In all honesty, this was not the easiest task for me, because we had to provide a write up about the "Steele Family". I chose to take lemons and make lemonade, and I am very proud of how it all came together. I am so pleased that K is getting this recognition at her school, and she deserves to be in the spotlight!

Fun with Friends

This was a pretty hectic weekend for us. Brandi and her baby G came in from Fayetteville, AR for the weekend, and we had the best time visiting with them. K was gone Friday night, so I was able to play with G for a while without any toddler jealously. :) Saturday after K came home, we attended Brandi's niece's bday party. Of course K had a good time because everything there to eat was filled with sugar. When we left the party, Missy and A came for a visit too. The girls were able to play for awhile before we had to pick Brandi and G back up and head to Snappy's. After we all filled up on pizza, we took the kiddos to the park to run it off. They had a blast, and afterwards we all just sat around, played, and caught up on eachother. I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend.

Baby G is home for a visit. I haven't seen him since he was just a couple weeks old.
K couldn't wait for A to come play!

Baby G's first time at the park

These two wild girls finally sat down to watch a couple of minutes of Bambi.

With all the company here, we tried out different sleeping arrangements. K was excited about the sleeping bag until she realized she couldn't sleep in the living room infront of the tv. She ended up in bed with me, but she loves it and we will be using it soon. Thanks Gramie!!!
