Fun at the Fair

The Obion County Fair came to town this week. I'm not much of a fan, but I knew K would enjoy it. It was her first year to go and be able to ride the rides. I was so proud and pleased with her. She was fearless and loved everything. We even got on the big feris wheel and she loved it! We also played a couple of games, and got a few prizes. All in all it was a great night!

This tug boat swang back and forth and turned around. It was her first actual ride. I thought she would cry, but she loved it!

These 3 pics were inside a big spinning strawberry.

First time on the ferris wheel. I was nervous but she wasn't.
This was called the Rock'n Roller Coaster when we were kids. When we got off, she said she liked it but it went too fast. :)
Pick a duck, win a prize!

Catch a fish, win a prize

 Another fish game she loved
 Dragon roller coaster
This ride made me nervous, but she had a fit to ride. I couldn't ride with her. Luckily this little girl was in line so we put them together. The car drives along a track, but when it goes around a turn, it is really fast. The girls screamed at every turn, but were laughing the whole time.

 All her prizes she won
 The big ferris wheel

A beautiful view.

A little Summer Fun

K and Josh spent a morning in the sprinkler trying to beat the heat we've been having. While K is not a fan of the water, (she doesn't like to get it on her face) Josh loved it! These two are a dynamic duo for sure.

 I Love this pic!!!

Summer 2012

Boy has it been a crazy summer! I have been a bad blogger and horrible picture taker this summer, but I am gonna catch everyone up pretty quick. At the end of June, we all got together at Granny's house for a little reunion. It was great to see all our cousins, and see all the kids together with Granny!

Our big news of the summer is we bought a house! Our house in Martin finally sold, and it has been such a relief to be in a place we can stretch out and call home. It was very hard work moving. I feel like it took the majority of the summer, but the reward is worth it! Here are a couple of pics of the new house.

Kinley's 3rd Birthday

For K's 3rd Birthday, I decided to have a "Pink" party. She will tell you her favorite color is pink at least 10 times a day, so that is what we went with. I was able to have it at our new house this year, and I think it was my favorite party so far. As you can see, everything was pink and the guests were asked to participate by wearing pink also. I think she loved every second of it! It is hard to believe 3 years have gone by already. I love her more and more each day!!!

Tissue pom poms (not an easy task for me) :)

Pink Candy Buffet

I really wanted to do a ruffle cake. With the heat we've been having, I was told it would fall. I think this look-a-like turned out great though.

I made the cupcakes. Not too bad for my first time.

Paw Paw had this chair made for his little princess. Its a rocker glider chair. I love it, and hope to see K pass it down to her own kids one day.
I got K the bike. Of course it had to be pink!
